My Pentax MX is my little baby. I've had it for 8 months now, but only been through two films, the first one not being a success, because I forgot about a little thing called lightmeter. I was someone let know that I couldn't buy the same kind of batteries anymore and therefore the camera had a defunct. But I found such batteries, which are pretty common. I love my camera very much even though it smells awfully of cat pee. It can not come off. It's been there for all of the 8 months I've had it, probably longer before that and it will stay untill it has done it's service in this world. Another thing is the lightmeter... yes still. It works

This is a first. This is the first time I am using a journal skin, and this is the first time I am doing a feature. Something I have wanted to do for a while. I didn't until now for two main reasons: 1. In the 4 years I have been a dA member I have never been more active than now, and I felt I wasn't a true appreciater of the community. 2. I have never done it before - duh - therefore I do not know how to, what the procedures are and so forth. I really should do more portrait photography. Not because I don't enjoy doing still life photography, but because I love exploring the emotions that can translate onto a photo. At the moment I only have myself as a subject, which doesn't bother me; some of my earliest watchers might remember my gallery being full with pictures of me - ha! But I bit my lip and it is all swollen, ouch, so in the meantime I can think about a theme for the pictures.
